Dr Gregory Rubin, DO

I’m Dr. Gregory Rubin, a Primary Sports Medicine Physician at HSS at NCH, specializing in non-operative treatments for sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. My journey in medicine began at the University of Florida, followed by medical school at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. I then completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut and pursued further specialization with a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the University of Kentucky. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a team physician for various collegiate athletic programs, including the University of Kentucky, Georgetown College, and Kentucky State University. In Naples, I’ve extended my care to high school athletics and currently serve as a team physician for Florida Gulf Coast University, covering all sports, while also consulting for the ECHL’s Florida Everblades. With a strong focus on non-surgical approaches, I utilize advanced techniques such as ultrasound-guided injections, PRP therapy, and viscosupplementation to help athletes and active individuals recover from acute injuries, fractures, arthritis, and chronic overuse conditions. As the co-founder of the Sports Medicine Review and an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, I remain committed to advancing the field and ensuring my patients receive the highest level of care.
