I’m Dr. Lingor, an Assistant Attending Physician at HSS and a faculty member at Weill Cornell Medical College. As the Medical Director and Team Physician for the New York Rangers, I specialize in treating acute musculoskeletal injuries and improving patient access through HSS Ortho Injury Care. My practice integrates musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnosis and treatment, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for joint and tendon conditions. In addition to clinical work, I actively contribute to research and frequently speak at sports medicine conferences worldwide.
My medical journey began at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, followed by a family medicine residency at Illinois Masonic in Chicago and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to medical school, I gained extensive experience in sports performance and rehabilitation as a Registered Dietitian, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I’ve worked with professional teams, including the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and Hamburg Sea Devils in NFL-Europe, and have served as an Assistant Team Physician for the New York Jets, as well as various collegiate and high school teams.
My approach to patient care is holistic, combining expertise in nutrition, athletic training, and sports medicine to develop personalized treatment plans that help patients optimize their health and performance. Outside of my practice, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and staying active outdoors. As a passionate endurance athlete, I’ve completed multiple marathons and three Ironman Triathlons, including the Hawaii Ironman World Championships.
