I am Dr. Abdul A. Mazin, a board-certified pediatric neurologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in treating neurological conditions in children. My journey in medicine began at the University of Mosul College of Medicine, followed by advanced training at Tufts Medical Center in Child Neurology and a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I further honed my expertise during my residency at the University of Chicago.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to diagnosing and managing pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, headaches, seizures, sleep disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. My commitment to patient care extends across multiple hospital affiliations, including the University of Chicago Medical Center and Loyola University Medical Center.
Licensed to practice in several states, I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Epilepsy and Neurology with a special qualification in Child Neurology. I accept a variety of insurance plans, ensuring accessible care for my patients.
