Dr. Joanna S. Blackburn MD

I am a board-certified pediatric neurologist based in Chicago, Illinois, with over a decade of experience in treating children with neurological conditions. I specialize in managing a range of disorders affecting the brain, including headaches, seizures, sleep disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. My journey in medicine began at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by a pediatrics residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a fellowship in child neurology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Currently, I am affiliated with Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where I am committed to providing compassionate and expert care to my young patients. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and hold an active medical license in Illinois. My practice is open to patients covered by Medicare, Blue Cross, and other insurance plans.
