Dr. John A. Bird MD

I am a dedicated allergist-immunologist with over 20 years of experience in treating immune system disorders, including food and respiratory allergies, eczema, asthma, and immune deficiencies. After earning my medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, I pursued specialized training with a pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by fellowships in Allergy and Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine and Duke University Hospital. Currently practicing in Dallas, Texas, I am affiliated with Children’s Medical Center Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center, where I am committed to providing expert, compassionate care to my patients. Board-certified in Allergy and Immunology, I hold an active Texas State Medical License and accept various insurance plans, including Blue Cross. My approach to patient care is rooted in evidence-based medicine, ensuring tailored treatment plans that improve quality of life.
