I’m Dr. Gihan S. Abdel-Samed, an emergency medicine physician based in Woodland Hills, California, with affiliations at Fairview Park Hospital and West Hills Hospital and Medical Center. With more than 20 years of experience, I specialize in emergency medicine, treating patients with life-threatening conditions such as heart attacks, drug overdoses, shock, and massive bleeding. I earned my medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital. I’m certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and hold active medical licenses in several states, including California, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Idaho, through 2024.
