Dr. Katherine C. Van Poppel MD

I’m Dr. Katherine C. Van Poppel, a board-certified pediatric neurologist with over a decade of experience in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions in children. My journey in medicine began at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by specialized training in pediatrics, child neurology, and clinical neurophysiology at the University of Tennessee. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to providing expert care for children with epilepsy, headaches, sleep disorders, and other neurological conditions. Currently practicing in Concord, North Carolina, I am affiliated with Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and Levine Children’s Hospital. I am certified in clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy, and child neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. My commitment to patient care extends to working with families to create personalized treatment plans that improve quality of life.
