Dr. Wamda O. Ahmed MD

I’m Dr. Wamda O. Ahmed, a neurologist based in Houston, Texas, affiliated with Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. I specialize in diagnosing and treating a range of neurological conditions, including headaches, strokes, dementia, seizures, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, sleep disorders, and neuromuscular diseases. I earned my medical degree from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and completed my residency in Neurology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I further trained in Neurocritical Care through a fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Additionally, I hold a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Texas. I am board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and currently hold an active medical license in Texas through 2023.
